Below Elbow Mechanical Hand is a prosthetic device designed to replace the hand and forearm of an individual who has lost the use of their hand due to an amputation.  It is made up of a socket, a wrist unit, and a hand unit. The socket is custom-fitted to the individual's residual limb and is designed to provide a comfortable and secure fit. The wrist unit is typically motorized and allows for the user to control the movement of the hand unit. This Below Elbow Mechanical Hand is made up of a series of mechanical fingers and thumb that can be moved and manipulated to perform various task.
